    Philotelma ulianai sp.nov. dell’Egitto. (Insecta, Diptera, Ephydridae)

    Viene descritta Philotelma ulianai sp.nov. dell’Egitto affine a P. defectum (Haliday, 1833), dalla quale differisce principalmente per la presenza di due setole sopra-alari e una cataepisternale (una sopra-alare e due cataepisternali inP. defectum), per le zampe interamente gialle (brune in P. defectum), nonché per la morfologia dei genitali maschili.
    Abstract

    Philotelma ulianai sp.nov. from Egypt is described. The new species is related to P. defectum (Haliday, 1833), and differs from it in having two supra-alar and one katepisternal setae (one supra-alar and two katepisternal in P. defectum), the legs entirely yellow (brown in P. defectum), as well as for the morphology of the male terminalia.
